Mr. Electric is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our growing accounting team! This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for accounting. As a key player in our accounting department, you’ll assist with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) management, preparing journal entries, and generating cost analysis reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other office platforms.

Key Responsibilities

*               Assist with managing AR and AP processes.

*               Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.

*               Generate detailed cost analysis reports to support management decision-making.

*               Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts on a regular basis.

*               Maintain accurate financial records by tracking transactions and preparing reports.

*               Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.

*               Collaborate with team members to improve financial procedures and controls.

*               Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

What We’re Looking For

·        Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.

·        2 + years experience in an accounting role.

·        Proficiency in QuickBooks.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with an aptitude to learn new software and systems

·        Excellent analytical skills

·        Strong organizational and time-management skills

·        Attention to detail and accuracy

What We Offer
