We are looking for a skilled and reliable service electrician to join our team and provide high-quality electrical services to our clients. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in various types of buildings, such as homes, offices, schools, and hospitals. You will also ensure that all electrical work is done in compliance with the local and national electrical codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to discuss their electrical needs and provide estimates and quotes
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, such as wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, panels, generators, and appliances
  • Perform inspections and testing to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and faults
  • Use various electrical tools and equipment, such as meters, testers, drills, saws, and soldering irons
  • Follow blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure proper installation and operation of electrical systems
  • Comply with all electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations and procedures
  • Document and report all electrical work done and materials used
  • Communicate and coordinate with other contractors, suppliers, and customers
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to emergency calls as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid electrician license and certification
  • At least two years of experience as a service electrician or a similar role
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents
  • Proficiency in using various electrical tools and equipment
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Availability to work on-call, overtime, and in different locations
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
