Here are Your Responsibilities as a Residential Electrician at Mr. Electric

As a Residential Service Electrician, you are a key member of our team. Our customers look to your expertise to help solve their issues and build confidence that their home will be safe.

Here are the primary responsibilities for this position:

  • You will help customers with various electrical needs, from installations to repairs. This could range from installing basic fixtures to replacing a home's electrical panel and wiring. Note: Complex troubleshooting is often involved so experience as a residential service electrician is a must!
  • You are the face of Mr. Electric and will be interacting with the homeowner to deliver the customer service that Mr. Electric is known for.
  • You ensure the safety of both yourself and the people you serve, leaving their homes safer than when you first walked in. You'll identify and present opportunities and solutions to the customer to ensure the safety of their family and property.

Job Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements for the Residential Journeyman Electrician position.

  • You must have a valid and active Arkansas Journeyman, Residential Journeyman, Master, or Residential Master license. If you have the ability to obtain one immediately by transferring from another state, restarting an inactive license, or taking the test, your application will be considered
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Enthusiasm for working with customers, and embracing the Mr. Electric model of running calls

Pay and Benefits

The starting pay range for our Residential Electrician is a base of $60,000 to $80,000, depending on your level of experience with an unlimited potential to increase your pay by obtaining commission on work performed, as well as commission overrides on the work performed by team members you oversee. On-target earnings will be $80,000 - $120,000 after bonuses and commission.

Our techs are paid a base weekly salary PLUS incentives based on performance, additional work performed, and overall job profitability.

We take care of setting all the appointments so you can focus on doing what you do best - repairing our customers' homes.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed

  • Fayetteville, AR: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with employer-provided relocation package (Required)

Experience:

  • Electrical: 2.5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Drivers License (Required)
  • J-man Electrician, Residential J-Man, or Master License (Required)
